All that was old is new again. This old adage seems to be more and more fitting as time goes on. Bell-bottomed pants from the seventies now exist in what is known as “flare” jeans. Platform shoes were reincarnated as raised sandals and platform flip flops.
Why should furniture be any exception?
The daybed was perhaps the most old-fashioned pieces of furniture around. Seeing one in your grandmother’s spare room draped in traditional floral prints and adorned with too many pillows was a common thing to see.
