Weekend Warrior: A Metallic Touch

Have you been looking for a quick and inexpensive project to take on that would add a bit of flare to your home’s design? You might be surprised how far just a few bucks and a little experimenting can take you. Ever considered metallics?

Metallic finishes add a touch of elegance and sophistication to what would otherwise be an ordinary, lackluster object. Just think about all the metallic things you’ve seen. Now imagine them if they were made of plain materials.

Suddenly, some statues and sculptures aren’t as appealing. Ornate metalwork just isn’t as beautiful. No disrespect intended to the artists, but humans are naturally attracted to shiny things.

So, maybe your home could benefit from a metallic accent here and there.

Today’s Weekend Warrior will show you how you can turn childhood toys, ordinary objects, etc. into stunning and elegant accent pieces for your home.
