DIY – Waterworks

Aldridge Vanity by Dragon Wood

We’re always on the lookout for ways to update the look of our interiors. After all, it is where we spend the majority of our time.

An old adage goes something like, “Water is the wellspring of life.” And we agree.

So, in keeping with that theme, here are a couple of quick updates that will enhance your quality of life as well as your home’s design:

New Faucet

Faucets and knobs are some of the most noticeable elements in the kitchen and the bathroom. As such, they often scream “poor design!” when they’re outdated.

Whether you’re going for an antique look or a modern, contemporary feel, there are a ton of faucets that will complement your design theme. Because, let’s face it, no one sets out for the outdated look.

Aside from improving the look of your sink area (and the room overall), this quick fix can help to increase your home’s resale value.

Change the Shower Head

Modern technology has made it possible to install low-flow shower head units that will essentially deliver the same amount of water pressure. The more efficient units will reduce the amount of your water bill.

Quick note: If your water pressure and flow seems lower than it should be, there might be hard water or calcium deposits that may be blocking the flow.
