Lighting, in general, is perhaps the most useful and necessary furnishing components of our home’s design. Sure, many furniture elements are essential, but what good is it to relax on a beautiful, comfortable couch underneath a bare lightbulb?
So, naturally, designers take pride in creating stunning, creative and even subtle lighting elements.
We’ve decided to take this time to simply highlight a few lighting elements that are standouts for their own reasons over the next couple of weeks.
For starters, take a trip with us to Spain, an artistic and cultural center of old world Europe. We promise to have you back in time for dinner.
The La Scalla 3-Light Semi Flush by Maxim Lighting is representative of the art and architecture of the region. The lighting fixture was influenced by the formal design of Spanish haciendas, which features elegant and ornate, but not elaborate lines and other details.
The entire collection is constructed of hand-bent metal that has a gold umber finish. If the semi-flush doesn’t suit your taste or logistically fit the space you’re planning to place it in, the La Scalla Lighting Collection also has pendants, entry hangs, chandeliers, wall sconces and flush mount fixtures available.
Translucent glass featured throughout the collection casts a warm and enticing glow throughout the room that is reminiscent of an enchanting sunset.
