Grandiose crystal chandeliers are often too formal and are so “1800’s”. Very few of us live in a home where the luxurious chandelier wouldn’t stick out like a sore thumb.
Now, am I suggesting that you settle for a plain, opaque glass globe to cover your light bulbs? Definitely not.
Some manufacturers have found the delicate balance between attractive, yet modern design.
Let’s face it. A chandelier is meant to be a compliment to a beautifully designed room.
There are some rules that were just not meant to be broken. Why waste money on an extravagant lighting display when there are a number of equally appealing options available that will essentially serve the same purpose?
When considering lighting options, keep this in mind. Beautiful doesn’t need to be expensive and being expensive doesn’t mean it’s beautiful.
Materials like wrought iron, brass, tinted and clear glass and more mixed with creativity makes the possible combinations virtually endless. Don’t settle.
